Human immunology research assistant needed in a stimulating academic environment. 1.0 FTE, $26,400-$37,000 depending on experience. The candidate will work within a lab environment focused on understanding the human immune response to infection with M. Tuberculosis. Duties include oversight of the laboratory, performance of general research procedures, performing cellular immunology techniques such as cell culture of human T and other cells lines, ELISPOT, FACS analysis, and growth and manipulation of M. Tuberculosis in a BSL3 facility. Must be able to work cooperatively and have good attention to detail. Opportunity for increasing independence. BS or BA required. Previous laboratory experience, preferably including tissue culture work, is desired.
