On August 6, 2010, NIH will announce the availability of openings for the position of Scientific Review Officer (advertised under the title “Health Scientist Administrator”). These are full-time, non-laboratory Federal positions located in Bethesda, MD, and will be advertised at the GS12 - 14 level. Applicants have until August 20 to complete submission of his/her application.
NIAID seeks talented individuals (US citizens) with expertise particularly in HIV/AIDS who are trained virologists working on HIV transmission, pathology, immunology, microbicides, vaccinology, chemotherapy, or prevention. Individuals with expertise in molecular and cellular immunology of non-AIDS infectious diseases are also highly sought.
